Second was withthe Yoga Center of Steamboat in December of 2020 with Cheryl Anders. . In Addition, Yoga SUP certified in April 2022. For 2024, she is beginning work on her 500 hr certification.
Her Dosha is Pitta-Vata, born in the Winter Solstice, in England, lived in beautiful and majestic state of Colorado since a young age. She loves her roots in the Rocky Mountains.
Samantha found her connection and love with yoga in 2008, in her corporate job, when a co-worker (a new yoga teacher) offered classes in the conference room during their lunch hours. Conference tables were pushed aside, mats rolled out, and they would flop around in their business clothes, working out the “knots”, it was perfect. Here is where Samantha knew yoga would be part of her life on a daily basis from here on out. What a cool way to find balance & peace in the middle of all the craziness.
A simple breath in & a long breath out, and her mind could find stillness and peace in matter of a moments. Such a beautiful gift….and to boot…. it gets to go with her ANYWHERE.
The healing benefits from yoga helped her overcome knee, back and ankle pain, from inquiries and surgery. In addition, helped sort through and move past childhood wounds.
Off her yoga mat, Samantha’s “jobby job” is in sales and she enjoys the simplicity of outdoor life: skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, paddle-boarding, photography, biking, scuba diving, traveling, and camping with her two silly and energetic dogs.
Her classes are designed to welcome adults of all capabilities. She hopes to offer tools that everyone can take with and shift into living a more beautiful life. Photography by Samantha Wiiest
